Terms of service

1. Who we are

WritWork is a service of Paragon Government Solutions LLC DBA WritWork LLC ("we", "us"), 11166 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22031. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are using WritWork on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.

2. What the service is

WritWork mirrors public building-code enforcement records published by city governments, classifies them by trade, and presents them as sales leads for contractors. The records originate with the cities; we do not create, alter or guarantee them. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any city.

Records change after publication — orders are complied with, contested, withdrawn and corrected. We provide live re-check tools; use them before acting on any record. The service is provided "as is" and we do not warrant that any record is current, complete or accurate.

3. Permitted use

You may use the data to find, evaluate and pursue repair work for your business. You may not: (a) use it to make decisions about any person's credit, insurance, housing or employment — WritWork is not a consumer reporting agency and the data is not a consumer report under the FCRA; (b) resell, redistribute or bulk-export the data as a competing product; (c) scrape the service or circumvent plan limits; (d) use the service in violation of any law.

If you contact property owners, compliance with telemarketing and anti-spam law — including the TCPA, Do-Not-Call rules and CAN-SPAM — is solely your responsibility.

4. Accounts and billing

Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring basis and can be cancelled any time from Settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. Our refund policy is published separately and is part of these terms.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the service — including decisions made in reliance on any record. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 3, 5 and 7 survive termination.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after a change is acceptance. Questions: support@writwork.app.
