Privacy policy

What we collect

Account data you give us: company name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash — we cannot read it), your trade selections, base address and search radius, and your city. Billing is processed by Intuit QuickBooks; we store a QuickBooks customer reference and invoice ids, never your card or bank details.

Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) kept for security and debugging, and which leads you mark as working or hidden so the portal can remember them.

Messages you send us — contact forms, support email, chat with our assistant — are kept so we can respond and improve support.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your lead activity with other contractors — which properties you're working is your business. We don't send marketing email to account holders who haven't opted in, and every marketing email we ever send includes a working unsubscribe link.

The property data

The violation records shown in the product are public government records published by the cities, including property addresses and, in some cities, property-owner names of record. We display them as published. If a city corrects or withdraws a record, our next sync reflects that. Requests about the underlying records should go to the issuing city; requests about our handling of them can come to us and we'll help route them.

Service providers

We use a small set of processors to run the service: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), billing and payments (Intuit QuickBooks), email delivery, and SMS delivery for messages you've consented to receive. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. Delete your account and we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, billing or legal reasons. You can request a copy or deletion of your data any time by emailing us from your account address.
